What We Collect
MindPsych stores the account information you provide and the information you choose to create in the product, such as assessment responses, saved results, check-ins, progress, and private comparison invitations. Passwords are handled by the authentication provider, not displayed back in MindPsych.
How We Use Your Data
This information powers the features you ask for: reflective results, saved progress, check-ins, and private comparisons that you choose to join. MindPsych should not use private assessment answers in public pages, social metadata, or share URLs.
Sharing and comparison consent
Your profile is private by default. A result becomes viewable only when you deliberately create a share link. A relationship comparison requires an authenticated recipient to explicitly join; either participant can disconnect it, and the sender can revoke an invitation.
Security and Protection
The app uses authenticated database access, row-level access controls, signed sessions, private invitation tokens, and verified payment webhooks. No system can promise absolute security; report a suspected issue without including your private results in a public channel.
Your Rights
From Account, you can export your data, sign out other devices, correct your results by retaking an assessment, clear stored data, revoke comparisons, and request full account deletion. An export intentionally excludes authentication tokens and other people’s private profile data.
Cookies and Tracking
Essential browser storage is used for sign-in and product preferences. We use Vercel Web Analytics to collect anonymous, aggregated usage information such as page views, referrers, general location, browser, device, and operating system information; it does not use third-party cookies and is designed so this analytics data is not tied to an identifiable individual. Separate optional product analytics stay off until you choose to allow them in Account settings, and that adapter is designed to exclude answers, profile types, names, messages, and invitation tokens.
Reflective results and uncertainty
MindPsych uses language such as “your answers suggest” because results are prompts for reflection, not fixed truths or diagnoses. You can retake assessments and review refinements rather than having a baseline identity silently rewritten.
Children's Privacy
Age gates, retention periods, and regional privacy obligations must be confirmed with legal counsel before public launch. Do not use MindPsych if you are below the minimum age required where you live.
Updates to This Policy
We may update this page as the product evolves. Before public launch, counsel should confirm when consent, notice, or a refreshed acceptance is required. Material product changes should be clearly surfaced in the app.
